Catch them live to experience the complex chordal composition, tight 4-piece vocal harmonies and quirky lyrical stories which are undeniably Steely Dan. Steely Scam returned to the Brecon Jazz Fringe Festival on Sunday 14th August to wow a wonderfully appreciative audience with a 2 hour set of all the best loved Steely Dan tracks, plus new additions to the set including Rose Darling, Haitian Divorce and the still wonderfully weird Aja, which received a rapturous response. This year they were joined on stage by the fantastic Division Horns brass section and the stunning Odette Adams on backing vocals and percussion. The whole band had a fabulous afternoon, and send a message of sincere thanks to all those fans who supported them, and also a huge thank you for all the messages of support and appreciation received through Facebook and email since the gig. Following their appearance they have also been contacted by various promoters in the south of England who are keen to spread the word of Steely Dan – watch this space for more gig info as it happens!
